Big Daddy's Bar-B-Q is located in Des Moines, the capital city of Iowa. The family-owned and operated business was established in 1983 by Ike Seymour, aka Big Daddy, and his wife, Arnzie Seymour. The restaurant is currently located at 1000 East 14th Street. Big Daddy's restaurant is known as one of the best places for ribs in Des Moines and as an excellent caterer. They catered to President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore while the two politicians were visiting Iowa.
